SDN Testbed

Georgia Tech and UNCC will jointly build the software-defined cloud-based wireless network testbed by using USRPs for Cloud-RAN and software-defined routers for software-defined core networks in BWN Lab at Georgia Tech. The testbed will implement and integrate the components developed by two PIs, including cloud-based spectrum databases in the network controller, big base station formation and collaborative scheduling algorithms in the baseband processing unit (BBU), and wireless and network hypervisors in the network virtualization layer.
